Refunds
Last updated 19 August 2026. This page applies once we have accepted an engagement in writing and you have paid an invoice. The website itself does not take payment.
Eligibility
A full refund of programme fees is available if you cancel in writing more than fourteen calendar days before the published cohort start, and you have not been issued the first working pack. Field Brief fees are refundable if we have not yet returned the written mark-up. Expansion Stewardship fees are refundable for unused sessions in the current quarter if you cancel before the first session of that quarter.
Timeframe to request
Send the request to info@siteworkbase.digital within the windows above, or within a reasonable time if Australian Consumer Law gives you a longer remedy because the service was not provided with due care. State the invoice number and the seat name.
Full or partial refunds
After a cohort starts, a partial refund may be offered if we cancel a programme or substitute a principal without a comparable instructor and you do not wish to continue. If you miss sessions, that is not a default ground for a partial refund. If you are removed for missing critiques without notice, as described on the about page, fees already earned for weeks delivered are not returned; unused weeks may be refunded at our discretion.
Non-refundable items
Travel, accommodation, and third-party filing costs you incur are never refunded by us. Guest-module recordings, once streamed to you, are not treated as unused goods. Credit-card or wire fees charged by your bank are not added back.
Process
We confirm the request in writing, check the invoice, and tell you whether the refund is full, partial, or declined, with a short reason. Statutory consumer rights are not displaced by that reason.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are paid within fifteen working days to the original payment method where the bank still allows it. If that method is closed, we will ask for an Australian account in the same legal name as the invoice.
Cancellation
You cancel by email, not by ignoring a calendar invite. We cancel by email if a cohort cannot run; in that case you may transfer to the next dated cohort or take a full refund of unused fees.
Exceptions
Nothing on this page limits non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a cooling-off rule applies to your particular contract type, that rule wins. Custom on-site teaching quoted outside the public retainers is governed by that quote’s cancellation schedule if one was attached.
Refund requests: info@siteworkbase.digital or the phone number on the contact page.
